Let’s Talk Analytics

This week I tool a task of adding an event track to a side project, complemented by Cloudflare functions, Zaraz, and Mixpanel.

There are some differences between MixPanel and Google Analytics:

MixPanel:

• It has a more beautiful and easier User Interface.
• It supports SDKs for more languages than Google Analytics.
• It offers more customization options.
• It is more suitable for in-depth user behavior analysis, for instance, the user's complete behavior path.

Google Analytics:

• It mainly focuses on basic website measurement and application performance, such as PV and conversion rates.
• Its user interface is comparatively complex.
• It can integrate with Google’s other products, like Google Search Console.

Why Zaraz:

• It manages third-party tools and loads them in the cloud to improve website performance.
• It uses one API to track engagement and send data to all third-party tools.

My Week in Study

Recently, I started to watch some Frontend Development videos on Youtube, and used shadow English speaking to follow their content and tones. It’s really helpful, and can expand my vocabulary in the Frontend Development field. Here are some channels that I recommend if you are also a Frontend developer.

My Week in Life

Yesterday was my 28th birthday, and I celebrated it with Diana. Diana found a Sushi restaurant, it was far away from where we live, but we still went there, the dishes were as delicious as people said on the DianPing app.

Another exciting thing is that we are going to travel to Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture next week. We planned it a couple of months ago. Wish us a good time then.
